Backwoodsman disaster!

We the Venture Scouts participated in a backwoods man activity on  5 March 2021. We were separated into  two patrols and we planned for the backwoods man activity . I was tasked with collecting the leaves for the fire in the backwoodsman activity . I took time out of the week to collect the kindle and tinder for the backwoodsman fire at the local part near where I live I had two plastic bags in my hand and i was determined to fill them both up. I went around the park to collect dried leaves and sticks and I also found a huge stack of leaves from a broken branch of a tree that had a huge amount of dead leaves.

 The backwoods man activity was something that I looked forward to, during the backwoods man activity we faced some setbacks such as the eggs exploding in the pit. It was very unexpected since we had no prior experience in cooking eggs under a fire. But there was a even bigger problem the food that my friend had bought was not halal , so when our teacher wanted to confirm with him asking him if he was halal he said that he was not sure. So the food was not halal Muslim students and teachers were not able to eat the food , it was very unfortunate. Through this experience I think that we all have learnt that we have to check things before doing it.
