Earlier in the year on 2nd January me and my class 2E3 went around the Neighbourhood of our school to do a VIA initiative. We were tasked to asked residents in the neighbourhood for their extra newspapers and recyclable materials including clothes and magazines. This was a very enriching experience for me as I learnt how to communicate with different types of people and learnt to work together with my fellow classmates. I had also learnt to differentiate between recyclable and non- recyclable materials, and by recycling I can lower my carbon foot print and reduce green house gas emissions and do my part to save the environment. Overall I learnt how to better communicate with others , formed stronger bonds with others and learnt how to care for the environment.
